Research and Impact Report

Indigenous Fashion Arts (IFA) are an innovative cultural organization and leaders within the fashion industry, who wanted to showcase and celebrate the impact that their festival makes. They engaged Bespoke to collaborate with their team to deliver their first ever impact report. As part of this process we audited the festival, tracked attendance, conducted surveys, focus groups, and interviews, and analyzed the economic, cultural and social impact of the festival. 

The research findings from our report placed emphasis on six core areas that make Indigenous Fashion Arts stand out. These included how IFA (1) amplifies Indigenous creativity, (2) acts as an interdisciplinary incubator for Indigenous fashion arts, (3) generates economic growth and capacity building, (4) establishes inclusive and ethical fashion systems (5) raises the bar on value-driven partnerships within the arts and (6) connects Indigenous communities across Canada.
