Michael Esteras (he/him)

Strategist

Michael Esteras is a creative strategist immersed in the world of arts, culture and design. Michael delivers thoughtful solutions grounded in robust inquiry and insights. Since 2015, he has worked with Bespoke on major projects including The Bentway, Museum of Contemporary Art Toronto, Canadian Dance Assembly, Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). He is committed to collaborating with arts and culture organizations working to be forward-thinking, ethos-driven and impactful.

At LaPlaca Cohen, Michael contributed to the development of Culture Track ‘17, a landmark study on arts and culture audiences in the US. With the Institute Without Boundaries and the Canadian Urban Institute, Michael has conducted research in Toronto, Detroit, Chicago, Montréal, and Iloilo City, Philippines, developing site-specific solutions that address urgent social, environmental and economic issues. Michael holds a Master of Arts from the Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology and a Bachelor of Arts from York University.
