Research & Impact Report for New Orleans Triennial

Prospect, a contemporary art triennial based in New Orleans that engaged Bespoke to plan and deliver their first ever impact report. This work assessed the social, cultural and economic value that this citywide arts festival brings. We conducted surveys, interviews and focus groups to better understand how Prospect enlivens the city. We also analyzed and collected baseline data related to tourism, community engagement, attendance, and assessed the experience of participating artists and overall economic impact. 

This work supported the triennial in showing how the arts is a catalyst for resiliency, the extent to which they championed celebrated artists of African descent, how they supported a cultural ecosystem that ensures social and economic benefits to local communities, how Prospect activates the city and contributes to placemaking as well as acts as a nexus for contemporary art in America, by incubating new practices.
