Sabrina Richard (she/her)
Director of Research & Planning, Co-Founder
An architect by training and a cultural planner by profession, Sabrina is completing a PhD from the University of California, Berkeley in architecture and planning. Throughout her career she has led numerous large scale and complex architectural and cultural planning projects in Canada and abroad, spanning needs assessments, feasibility studies, strategic planning and community engagement. Sabrina is dedicated to the realization of thoughtful, dynamic and meaningful cultural spaces enriched by innovative design, public engagement, community activation and inclusive consultation.
Prior to co-founding Bespoke, Sabrina was the senior planner at Lundholm Associate Architects, an architectural practice and planning consultancy specializing in museums, archives and cultural institutions. Sabrina’s scholarly research has been published by the Mellon Foundation, Routledge Press, and the UC Davis Sustainability Consortium. She is currently a researcher and the community engagement lead on a multi-year SSHRC grant with Memorial University (pending).
